A debate on the topic “Why Gratitude Is Important to Show and Why It Is Not” was conducted for students of Classes 9 and 11. The programme was conducted by Ursuline Convent Sr.Sec. School and facilitated by Ms. Dahleia Chakravorty. Students participated enthusiastically and presented thoughtful arguments for both sides. The speakers supporting gratitude highlighted its role in building positive relationships, emotional well-being, and social harmony. On the other hand, opposing speakers discussed situations where gratitude may feel forced or unnecessary. The debate encouraged critical thinking, confident expression, and respectful listening among students, making the session informative and engaging.
